Tuition Policy: Unless otherwise noted, the advertised tuition includes all necessary materials to complete the course.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: You have the right to cancel your real estate course registration for a full refund at any time and for any reason prior to course credit acceptance by the Texas Real Estate Commission. If you finish a course and receive credit for it from TREC, it is presumed you were satisfied and no refund would be appropriate.
When is the Latest I Can Complete my CE? TREC considers the deadline for license renewal and completion of continuing education
requirements to be the last day of a license holder's expiration month before midnight Central Standard Time. For example, if your license
expires 12/31/2021, you must complete all continuing education courses on or before 11:59pm CST 12/31/2021; please note, however, that TREC
assesses a $200.00 deferral fee if their records do not show that you have completed your continuing education at the time you submit your
renewal application. Payment of the deferral fee (not available for the first renewal of your real estate license) allows you to remain active for an
additional 60 days from your expiration date to complete CE requirements.
To avoid this $200.00 deferral fee, you should complete your continuing education at least 10-15 days before submitting your renewal application, so
that TREC has sufficient time to process and record your continuing education credits. You can also avoid the deferral fee by renewing your license in inactive status.
NOTE: Deferrals are NOT available for the first renewal of a real estate license.
Identity Verification Requirement: During a course, you will be asked random questions to verify your identity. This is required by TREC to insure the person who starts the course is the same person who continues and completes the course. If you miss any identity verification question you will be denied further access to your course and will need to contact us at 800-833-1884 to resume.
Course Access Duration and Expiration: Students have six (6) months from the date of enrollment in a Qualifying/SAE course to complete it. If the TREC approval for a Qualifying/SAE course expires and/or the course is replaced with a new version before you complete the course, you understand and agree that you will be moved over to, and placed at the beginning of, the new version of the course, and that any progress you had in the expired version of the course will be lost.
Course Completion and Credit Submission: Students must complete all coursework including any quizzes, case studies, and final exam, as well as TREC’s mandatory Course Evaluation Form, in order for a course to be completed. Once a course is completed:
- Course completion certificates for Qualifying/SAE courses: Qualifying/SAE course completion certificates will be sent to the student at the email address used to enroll in the course, usually within one (1) business day after the course was completed. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the certificate is accurate and also to submit the certificate to TREC for credit;
- Course credits for CE courses: AbsoluteCE electronically submits CE course credits to TREC on the student’s behalf upon their completion of a CE course.
Contact Us: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (CST), except on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
